I financed my 2015 Chevy Malibu LT new in April 2015, it has a-little over 85,000 miles currently and started to human action up! While driving stalling out, will first support, jerking while driving, mechanic told me O2 sensors need to be replaced- paid to take replaced still doing the same thing- reduce engine power flashed this past weekend and reducing speed then the service traction flashed on dashboard, it's very unsafe. Mechanic recommended I take to dealership, but because the warranty was upward in the car all the dealership saw was $$ and decided to accuse me $178 diagnostic test, kept it for 3days only to come back and say it was the catalytic converter that need to be replaced which they seem very unsure about! No other guidance. No truth with these folks.
I'one thousand so disappointed in this process in this car, I'thousand spending money on car rentals, auto insurance and don't forget the rest of the machine note, GM finance still want that payment. Why is this car falling apart at v years quondam. Oh forgot to add that the dealership still charged $178 for diagnostic just no codes are coming up! I meet and then many threads and class activity cases with other Malibu owners having the aforementioned outcome, where do I sign up!

I couldn't believe how fast the bank check engine light came on. I found out that the air intake louver in the grill is stuck open. If it gets stuck closed that's a more unlucky problem for you. So I alive with the engine lite on since. The main point I am then angry about is the car does not accept 1 ding or spot of rust until I noticed rust developing under the driver side door. two trunk guys looked at it and said the factory didn't drill drainage holes in it. The other side was washed properly. So I have this well maintained Malibu with a strip of rust that would toll quite a fleck to repair all because the factory forgot to build information technology correctly.

Bought 2018 Chevy Malibu in August of 2018. In October of 2018 the first recall. And so the loud bass comes from trunk (took to dealership 2x for this until information technology was stock-still). And then engine light comes on. The car won't go any faster when y'all requite information technology gas. Service stability track, low fuel, steering help is reduced, lights come in. While it's parked & I'yard trying to turn it off it says shift to park. Try to crank information technology & it won't. Get out of motorcar, set alert & it cranks up (I don't have remote commencement). I've brought it to dealership 2x earlier for this. 1st time it wasn't even in the computer that it was fixed. 2nd time it was actually reprogrammed & worked for a couple of months and so the car went berserk over again – aforementioned thing! I'thousand at the dealership again to see what the problem is. Automobile has less than 10000 miles on it.

I bought my 2011 Chevy Malibu when information technology had 20,000 miles on it. This car has been cypher but a money pits. Dies in the eye of the road. The dealer nor any other shop tin can find the problem. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A CHEVY!!!! THESE CARS ARE JUNK!!!!

Have had a Chevy Malibu LTZ for 5 years. Great looking motorcar and can outrun most foreign crap on the street. I have e'er bought American and the quality can lucifer whatsoever foreign competitors. Buy American folks.

I purchased my 2017 Chevy Malibu new in Baronial of 2017. My problems started on the 25th of Baronial 2019 with 23904 miles on it. The anti traction lite came on along with the bank check engine light. Then within minutes, A "engine is reducing power" message was displayed then the refuse to get over 30 miles an hr. Took to AutoNation for repairs.. On May 25th 2019, with 27682 miles on it, my Malibu broke downwardly again for the same exact problem. It took AutoNation, 2 weeks to repair the machine. So on November xix, 2019 with 33772 miles on information technology, my Chevy Malibu broke down again for the same reason. I am so disappointed in my Chevy Malibu. I cannot expect to trade it in.

My 2008 Malibu was totaled when someone hitting united states from behind. We were very lucky. Well I decided information technology saved our lives and it was a peachy car that I wanted another one so I purchased a new 2018 Malibu in Feb. 2019. It won't get and go at a dead stop. It creeps. I'm afraid to pull in traffic and out of my neighborhood. I'k agape I'thousand gonna go in an accident! Call back that is out says a lite comes on. Mine doesn't come on. They should be Ashamed of themselves!!!! How long earlier their consciences going to start bothering them. All of the reports out should really spark a burn before someone gets injure. Not when lives are taken or affected. Do the right thing and prepare these cars please!!!! I depended on them selling me a reliable car not a death trap!

I bought a 2017 Chevy Malibu premier with all the upgrades in November of '17. Since then it has been issue after result. Effect with hitting gas and car non accelerating. Service message on that one. Stock-still. Front parking sensors always going off so I have to disable. Dealership "tin can't duplicate". Seal around sunroof visibly not secure. Lining slipping out where meets plastic parts of car. H2o leaking into passenger side leg expanse. This was a broken ac box. Now I wait in body considering I got a flat tire and I have 2" of h2o in wheel well. I personally will never buy a Chevy ever again.

This is my second 2018 Chevy Malibu with issues. The first one proceed throwing error messages most reduced engine power. Later on vehicle was in shop for over a week the dealership gave me the option of getting some other ane from their inventory. Had the second ane for simply over two months and it started loosing ability when accelerating. I was going 55mph down the road and lost all acceleration ability. I have the vehicle parked now and will non drive until I find out from dealership my recourse for this outcome. Very disappointed and don't similar feeling unsafe in my vehicle.

Traded in my Monte Carlo for a 2018 Malibu. I rented several cars to compare to the Malibu before purchasing. The Altima was a slice of junk compared to the Malibu. I'm on a budget, so I purchased the base model. This automobile has more than features than anything I've always driven. It even has a sensor to tell you something is on the backseat when you shut the door. Went on vacation in information technology with the family. Five of united states in that car for 4300 miles and everyone was mostly happy with the ride. Keen equally mileage, very comfortable and the trunk is large. Being able to turn OnStar on and off is peachy also. Used it as a mobile hotspot on holiday, merely don't need it for commuting. No problem, they plough information technology off and the billing stops. Brought it to the dealer for an oil change expecting to pay $60 or more than .. It was $xxx.
